Features of interest

• There are turkeys all over St. Andrew’s Church in Boynton but the famous turkey lectern recalls the story of explorer William Strickland. He lived in Boynton Hall before his death in 1598. He sailed to the New World in search of gold, and came back with only a few turkeys. It is said that he introduced the bird to Britain.
