Electric vehicle charging points in Bridlington

Bridlington has one car park installed with an electric car charger

Palace car park, Quay Road, Bridlington, YO15 3AA 

Palace car park in the centre of town is a medium stay car park and charges do apply 

The Council’s electric vehicle charging points are managed by Pod Point and are on the Pod Point Open Charge (free to use) network.

The charging points have a type 2 Mennekes socket with a single phase 7kw 32A AC supply. Your vehicle and charging cable should be compatible with this connection type and supply. Each Pod Point can charge two vehicles at the same time.
Access to the chargers has recently been upgraded and you can now only access the chargers via a smart mobile phone app or the web site (link below).

To access the chargers you will first need to visit open.pod-point.com and register by filling out the details in create a free account.

After creating an account, you will see the relevant app icons at the bottom of the webpage indicating where to download the app if you have an iPhone (from the App Store) or Android phone (from the Google Play store).

Once you have done this you can use the Council’s chargers by following the three simple instructions displayed on the top of the charging units.

The Council’s charging points are free to use and in car parks were parking fees apply you do not have to pay and display if you are recharging your vehicle. 

The charging points are managed by POD Point. If you have problems with the operation of the points please call POD Point on 0333 006 3503.
